A J is an expert gymnast who performs his skills around the world. He has been seen on the streets in Australia, Japan, Holland and Spain, as well as Britain. His show includes a lot of audience participation, gymnastic moves which have to be seen to be believed and a daredevil chain escape. Having won a number of prestigious awards already, he is a must for any large festival.

AJ began performing at the age of 8 when he realised that if he walked on his hands around the playground, his friends would be impressed and his teachers would forgive his day dreaming. He spent the next 10 years learning gymnastics, martial arts, roller blades, skateboarding and various other ways to exploit gravity.

By the age of 18 he had represented great Britain as part of a gymnastics display team, won regional martial arts tournaments and became a sponsored extreme sports performer. His careers advisor said he should join the S.A.S or the circus. The circus found him first and he became a legend in the art of astounding audiences!

AJ James is a speciality act blending acrobatic stunts and audience participation.

He has performed at festivals all over the world, won numerous talent competitions and accolades for his street theatre shows, been a stunt performer for film and television, a consultant in circus education, an event producer and a stand up comedian.

He is available for Cabaret, Comedy nights, Corporate functions, TV and Radio , Fashion shows and Festivals.
