The Mary Poppins Experience is a
new take on the Disney character we all know and love. This Mary Poppins is sharp, vain and sinister. She likes a drink and can’t stand children. With a permanently wind blown costume, an inverted umbrella and a
bottomless carpet bag she struggles against the wind that blows her from pillar to post. The audience become her ‘charges’ as she shares her pearls of wisdom, her songs and the contents of her carpet bag (which include a permanently wind blown apron, a bottle of medicine, a pigeon, her own customised tape-measure, and a bar of sunlight soap). |
